Day One: Nadi
Our tour begins the second you step out of the airport with one of our friendly team ready to meet and transfer you to our first resort.
After relaxing into your bure just moments from the beach our welcome ceremony and briefing commence at 5 pm. After an introduction to your local experience leader and your awesome new travel-mates, we are spoilt with a traditional ‘Sevu Sevu’ Kava welcoming before the short walk to the Marina to enjoy a fusion menu against a stunning Fijian sunset.
Day Two: Nadi
After a hotel breakfast, we jump on board our cool coach and transfer to the local community #EmpowermentTourism project. Around an hour’s drive inland, this project is focused on reaching those who have been affected by the Winston Cyclones but sadly due to their location don’t see many tourists or their spending.
Here we will enjoy an inspiring day seeing how your funds are having a positive impact by creating jobs and a unique cultural immersion experience. Add in an authentic Fijian cooking experience and lunch with an inspiring speech from the community elders on top of the sanitation projects we carry out for a rounded and impactful day.
In the evening we enjoy a delicious a-la-carte meal at the hotel restaurant with traditional dances and performances from across the Pacific Islands including the famous fire dancing which is spectacular, if not a little nerve-racking for those in the front row.
Day Three: Denarau
After a hotel breakfast, we transfer by coach to Denarau Island, a popular tourist destination and home to the Marina. After dropping our bags at the new accommodation, we board the exclusive day cruise to the private Savala Island.
This tiny speck of blissful white sand in the Pacific Ocean is the perfect private playground with kayaking, snorkelling and stand-up paddleboarding all available to enjoy. An on-island spa allows those looking to indulge with a massage the chance to do so as an optional extra. With an open bar and tropical lunch buffet available it’s hard not feel like you’re truly on Fiji time.
On arrival back to the Marina you can either join the hotel transfer or enjoy the bars and shops on the wharf. With the evening at leisure, it’s the perfect opportunity to kick back and relax with a fancy dinner or cocktail in hand.
Day Four: Denarau
After a hotel breakfast, we depart to the Sleeping Giant Gardens, a peaceful and colourful tropical array of orchids, palms and plants set against the backdrop of the islands ‘giant’, the mountain range.
We continue the relaxing theme with an indulging visit to the local mud pools and hot springs. Lathering up in this warm, mineral-rich mud before sliding into the naturally heated spa pools might look a little funny at first, but the effects on your skin and mind are worth the funny photos.
Spend the rest of your day relaxing around the pool before we re-group for a sunset dinner with white sand under feet. Saying farewell to Fiji is always hard but, cocktails on the beach are without a doubt the best way to do it.
Day Five: Departure
After enjoying your hotel breakfast, our tour concludes at check out. It’s time for plenty of emotional goodbyes, exchanging contact details and chatter about future travel plans.
Unlike many other tour operators, we don’t spend the tour trying to sell you upgrades or leaving you hanging around on the street because you can’t afford an unexpected attraction. All of the entrance fees are covered on tour, so you don’t need to dig into your pocket unless you wish to take on additional activities such as scuba diving.
Likewise, we include most of the meals on tour. With a mix of fusion and traditional cuisine we don’t just palm you off to the typical tour bus restaurants, we have personally eaten in and hand-picked each delicious dish we offer you. On this tour one dinner and two lunches are not included, giving you time to break off solo or head on an adventure with your group. Alcoholic and soft drinks are excluded at meal times. Water and on most occasions, hot beverages are included.
How much cash should I bring? With three meals, your drinks, souvenirs, tips and any extra shopping or personal items you decide on buying to account for, we suggest bringing around $250 AUD cash in hand to be safe and in case of any emergencies. Anything you don’t spend makes an excellent addition to your next travel fund.
Don’t want to spend your trip of a lifetime sharing a room? No worries. We can arrange a private room for you with a single supplement of $400 AUD pp. If you are flying solo but don’t want a private room, we will pair you up with another awesome tour companion and save you from the single supplement extra that many companies force on their travelers.
